Welcome to STOCA. By registering an account and using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use.


1. Educational Purpose and Disclaimer

STOCA is an independent, interactive study tool designed to assist students with corporate finance concepts. Please note the following:

  • Not Professional Advice: The content provided on STOCA does not constitute professional financial, investment, or legal advice.
  • Not Official University Grading: While STOCA is designed to aid your studies, we are an independent platform. Your scores on STOCA do not guarantee specific grades on official university exams. We hold no liability for academic outcomes.
  • Service Availability: We strive to keep STOCA running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any temporary downtime, technical bugs, or accidental data loss.

2. User Accounts and Fair Play

To participate in our interactive exercises and leaderboard, you must create an account. You agree to the following rules:

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on this platform, or have the explicit permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • Fair Play: Attempting to hack the grading system, exploit bugs, or use automated bots is strictly prohibited.
  • One Account: Users should only maintain one active account to keep the leaderboard fair.

3. Payments and Premium Content

Certain parts of the course require a one-time fee to unlock. By purchasing access, you agree to the following:

  • Pricing: Prices are displayed in Euro (EUR) and include any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time.
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not have access to your full credit card information.
  • Access: Once a "Part" (e.g., Part B) is purchased, it remains unlocked for the lifetime of your account on this platform.
  • Refunds: Due to the digital nature of our educational content, all sales are final once the content has been accessed. Refunds may be granted at our discretion only in cases of technical failure where the content cannot be unlocked.

4. Community Guidelines

STOCA encourages peer-to-peer learning. Any harassment, offensive usernames, or disruptive behavior during online sessions or within the platform will result in immediate account suspension or termination.


5. Intellectual Property

The original content, design, and exercises on this platform are the property of STOCA. You may use the platform for your personal educational use, but you may not scrape, copy, or redistribute our materials for commercial purposes.


6. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We also reserve the right to update these terms as the platform grows.


7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from the use of STOCA will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
